Common issues

MCP tools not appearing in Claude Code

After adding the sncro MCP config to ~/.claude.json, you must restart VS Code. Press Ctrl+Shift+P and run "Developer: Reload Window". Then type /mcp in Claude Code to verify the server is connected.

Browser not responding to queries

Make sure you've visited the sncro enable URL in your browser and navigated to the page you want to debug. If the page serves static HTML files, ensure the agent script tag is included:

Try a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R) to clear cached versions of agent.js.

Session expired

Sessions last up to 4 hours. After that, create a new session with create_session and paste the new URL in your browser.

"Invalid project key" error

Make sure your project is registered at sncro.net/dashboard and the key in your CLAUDE.md matches.

"Guest access" error

The project owner has disabled guest access. Only the registered owner's GitHub account can create sessions. Contact the project owner to enable guest access in their dashboard.
